The August Field Meeting was held at Grafham Water (track around southern half of Lagoons), on 13th August and was attended by 7 members.
The walk was round the Lagoon area from Plumber Park. The weather was dry but a little overcast and breeze. There were few birds seen but Sedge Warbler and Chiffchaff were heard. There were House Martins and Swallows over the Lagoon. Several Puffballs were seen in the woodland. Plants of particular interest were Yellow-wort and Squirrel tail Fescue.
